Artence Ezell Dalton, 87, of Rutherfordton, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Murphy and Dorcas Davis Ezell. She was a homemaker and was a founding member of New Testament Assembly in Spindale. Left to cherish is her memories are her daughters, Darlene Saraf and Melissa Ann Dalton of Shiloh and son Michael Keith Dalton of Shiloh; grandchildren, Michael James Saraf, Brandy Nicole King, Kelly Dalton Dale and Christopher Kyle Dalton; six great grandchildren; brother Rev. J.M. “Shelly” Ezell of Shelby, and her dogs Daisy and Maggie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Dalton and son Christopher Trevor Dalton. Graveside services will be held 11AM Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Kelly Dale officiating.
