Barbara Ann Evans Owens, 57, of Forest City passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Hospice of Rutherford County. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Jonas Yates Evans and Shirley Nadine Bradley Evans. Barbara was also the widow of Randy Owens. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Tonya Martin and husband Richard of Forest City, sons Donald Owens and wife Rachel, and Christopher Owens both of Forest City, a brother Terry Evans and wife Deborah of Forest City, and two sisters Teresa Mickles and Jean Hill and husband Jimmy Hill both of Forest City, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 4PM on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Caroleen Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Paul Nelon and Rev. Steven Matheny officiating. The Family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in the Caroleen Cogreational Holiness Church Sanctuary.
