Beatrice Moore Flack, age 95, of Union Mills passed away Monday June 30, 2014 at her home. Beatrice was the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Gertrude Moore of Polk County and married to John E. Flack Jr. who preceded her in death on March 24, 1999. Thermal City UMC was an important part of her life and she attended faithfully as long as her health allowed. Left to cherish her memory are her children Linda Cole of Rutherfordton, Larry & Eddie Flack of Union Mills, Caroll and Brenda Flack of Dallas, NC and Joyce and Benny Drye of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren Kenny Cole, Stephanie & John Higgins, Michael & Dee Cole, Kevin & Tara Flack, Kyle Flack, Matt Lovelace, Becka & Shane Key, Emily & Brayden Young, Leslie Baynard, Adam & Katie Drye; great grandchildren John Cole Higgins, Mackenzie Cole, Julia, Aleah & Locke Key, Jackson Young, Jordan Carroll, Taylor Baynard, Carissa Flack and Nola Drye; brother David A. (Jim) Moore of Polk County. Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Caroll Flack and Rev. Kevin McCormac officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Crowe’s Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O.
