Mrs. Billie Opal Jones Conner age 85 of Tanner Street died Saturday July 11, 2009 at her home. A native of Ohio she was the daughter of the late William Lewis Jones & Katharine Sitzler Jones and was a former sales representative for Singer Sewing Machine Company. Survivors include her husband Clarence Conner, one daughter Madelyn Kendall Voorhis, three sons Mark Wayne Conner, William Lester Conner and Curtis Lloyd Conner. A number of grandchildren and other relatives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Gary Allen Conner. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City NC 28043.Obituary
