Bobby Ray Culbreth, 78, of Spindale, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Rutherford Hospital. A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Robert (Bob) and Etta Jackson Culbreth. He was retired from the Town of Spindale Maintenance Department and the Spindale Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Spencer Baptist Church and an inactive deacon of the church. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, June Hawkins Culbreth of the home; two sons, Steve Jones of Raleigh and Jeff Jones and wife Candice of Rutherfordton; two grandchildren and several cousins. Services will be held Wednesday, April 6 at 2 PM at Spencer Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Caldwell and Dr. Larry Gregg officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
