Charles Edward “Eddie” Frye, age 57 of 261 Piedmont Rd Rutherfordton passed away Sunday October 16 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Eddie was a native of Olney, Md. and son of the late Joe and Ruth Frye Hutchins. He was a maintenance worker and was formerly employed by the Town of Spindale and a member of West Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving is his sister Paula Hutchins of the home and a number of cousins and friends. Memorial services will be 7 PM Friday at West Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Beane officiating.
