Charles “Chuck” Hailey, 60, of Lake Lure, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Forsyth County, NC he was the son of Dorothy Boyd Hailey and the late Dennis Lee Hailey. Chuck was a retired purchasing agent for Greenville Hospital Systems. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Leanne Craig of Charlotte; brother, Stephen Patrick Hailey of Lake Park, NC; and his beloved dog Susie. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his life partner, Dean Egly. Memorial services will be held 1PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Church of the Transfiguration, Bat Cave, NC.
