Cindy Melton Carlton, age 55, of Forest City, died Tuesday, January 22 at her home. A native of Meridian, MS, Cindy was the daughter of William H. and Peggy Sanders Melton. She was a homemaker and a member of Florence Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents is her husband, Allen Carlton of the home; daughter Avery Carlton of the home; brother Michael Melton of Meridian, MS; and sister Lynn Hasson of Asheville. A celebration of life will be held 2 PM Thursday, January 24 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Dr. Bobby Gantt and Greg Park officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2 PM.
