Cindy Wiggins, 78, of Union Mills, North Carolina passed away on Thursday May 21, 2020 at her home. To honor Cindy’s request there will be no public visitation or service. Cindy was born on April 21, 1942 in Lancaster, Ohio to Austin and Esther Miller. She lived and worked at various places throughout her life, and if it happened to be by the ocean she was extremely happy! She loved working at NGCOA (National Golf Course Owners Association) in Charleston S.C., and retired from there. Cindy had various interests with the love of the ocean and in collecting shells being one of her favorites. She also enjoyed painting, making homemade cards and gifts for family and friends, gardening, anthropology and she knew and loved history. She enjoyed helping at the local senior center also. Her homemade cards and gifts cheered up many family and friends. Those left to honor her memory include her children Gwen Augenstein of Ohio, Pam (Doug) DeMoss of Iowa, Jennifer Wiggins of North Carolina, Tasha Wiggins of Florida and Meroe Wiggins of Florida, Mother Esther Haugh of Kentucky, and sister Louise Boyce of Kentucky, brother Johnny (Linda) Miller of Oregon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, nephew Michael Munley and Angelique Boyce of Kentucky, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her father Austin, her son Galen, and brother Michael. Cindy will be greatly missed by all the family and friends that loved her.
