Clyde Romeo Bailey, 71, of Forest City, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Hospice of Rutherford County. Clyde was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Rome O Bailey and Elsie Moore Bailey. He worked as a weaver for Stonecutter and was a member of Adaville Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years Gail Allen Bailey, daughter Melissa Bailey of Forest City, son James Gregory Bailey(Elizabeth) of Ellenboro, grandchildren; Lindsay Izokovic, Justin Bailey, Nathan Bailey, CJ Morrow, Brooke Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Caitlin Bailey, Derek Ogden, Chelsea Ogden, and Michael Ogden, great-grandchildren; Peyton Bailey, Owen Izokovic, and one on the way. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings; Grady, Garland, and Christine Bailey. Funeral services will be held at 3PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Adaville Baptist with Dr. Jim Whitlow officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Church Sanctuary.
