Debra Kay Rhodes Almond, age 64, passed away Friday November 10, 2017 at Rutherford Hospital. Debra was a native of Gaston County and daughter of the late Jack Clayton and Martha Eleanor Smith Rhodes Sr.
Left to cherish her memory is her children Sherry Bailey and Scott Bailey; daughter in law Shannon Bailey; grandchildren Mitchell, Cody and Hunter; great grandchild Brinley. Sisters Diane Smith, Joan Worley, Pam Bradley; brother Little Jack; Special friends Teresa Wright, and John Green. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Morgan Rene Hodge, and brother Jack Rhodes Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Monday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Warren Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Sunday at Crowe’s Mortuary in Rutherfordton.
