Earlene Francis Honeycutt, 75, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, March 15 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Pearlie Lewis. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired textile employee. Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Bobby Joe Honeycutt of Cowpens, SC, James C. Honeycutt of Iron Station, NC, and Greg Honeycutt of Cowpens, SC; four sisters, Marie Martin, Louise Ferguson, Grace Nodine, all of Rutherfordton and Juanita Thrasher of York, SC; five grandchildren, James Honeycutt, Jr, Matthew Honeycutt, Savannah Honeycutt, Greg Honeycutt, and Austin Honeycutt. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Honeycutt and brothers, Charles Lewis and J.C. Lewis. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
