Eddie Ray Green age 80 of Rutherfordton, NC went home to be with the Lord, on January 8th 2017. Eddie was the son of the late Howard K Green and Odelia Bush Green. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Glenda Harris Green; daughter Heather Green Fisher and her husband Joel Edmund Fisher Jr. of Maiden and their two children Josh and Wendy Fisher, NC; Sister-in-law Walda Franklin; In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Dallas Green. Eddie was a Master Cabinet Maker and owner of Cherry Mountain Cabinets. Eddie also enjoyed big game hunting. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday January 13th 2018 at Gilkey Church of God with the Rev. Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
