Elvis Arrowood
Mr. Elvis Daniel Arrowood age 88 of Lee Road Forest City passed away Thursday August 5, 2010 at White Oak Manor of Rutherfordton. A native of McCormick SC he was the son of the late John Bynum and Ruth Mandy Toney Arrowood, a veteran of the US Army serving during World War Two, a member of Fellowship Holiness Church and was a retired textile employee. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Margaret Shelton Arrowood; one daughter Wanda Jenkins; three step daughters – Doris Ebert, Maxine McKinney and Dorlis Roberts; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held 2 PM Saturday August 7, 2010 at Fellowship Holiness Church with Rev. Leon Brown and Rev. Roger Hudgins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rutherford County Hospice POB 336 Forest City NC 28043.Obituary
