Erby Baxter Padgett, “Scott” age 61 of Asheville completed his heavenly journey to join family and friends in Christ on Thursday, March 19th, 2015. He loved to read, discuss world issues, music, and had a great sense of humor. Most of all he loved God, his family, and friends. Scott was the son of the late Erby and Georgia Mae Padgett. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Jackie Arrowood, and Joy Saunders (Kirk); brothers Forrest Padgett (Pat), William Padgett, Mike Padgett (Franie); stepfather Arthur Amos; special friends. Services will be held at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Rutherfordton at 11:00AM on Saturday, March the 21st 2015. The family will visit with friends following the committal service in the church cemetery.
