Estiline Goode Waters age 91 of 1396 Piney Knob Rd died Sunday at her home. A native of Rutherford County, she was retired from Laurel Mill (Mastercraft) and was a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband G.B. “Bland” Waters and parents Addie and Eva Allen Goode. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Martha (E.R.) Wells of Boiling Springs, SC, Blandine (Paul) Tate of Shelby, Rose Ann (Maurice) Edge of Morganton, Kay (Dale) Vatalaro of Spartanburg; sons William Frank Waters of Rutherfordton, Douglas Waters of El Paso, Tx, Edward (Kim) Waters of Rutherfordton; sisters, Alice Coggins, Mary Flack, Ann Trammel and Elizabeth Logan all of Forest City; brothers Julian and Fred Goode of Forest City, 12 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at Piney Knob Baptist Church. Rev. Steven Cooper, Rev. Jack Crain and Rev. Rick Wall will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Wednesday prior to the service.
