Garland “Joe” Tessnair, 63, of Spindale, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Vester and Nadine Greene Tessnair.

Garland is survived by his wife, Karen Keeter Tessnair of the home; daughters, Elaine Nicole Tessnair of Forest City, Ashley Tessnair, Elizabeth Tessnair and Billie Tessnair all of the home; brothers William Tessnair, Thurman Tessnair and Gary Tessnair; sisters Dorothy Yelton, Juanita Bunnell, and Lora Turner.

Memorial services will be held 2PM Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Crowe’s Mortuary. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
