Garrett David Williams age 27, formerly of Mount Pleasant, SC and Rutherfordton, NC died Tuesday, June 23, 2020. His mother Christine Marie Williams, father William Richard Williams and brother Ethan Richard Williams survive him. Those that knew him will remember his zest for life and love of people, especially children. Garrett adored his family and friends beyond measure. A natural athlete – he was an incredible fisherman, talented wake boarder, snow boarder, golfer and motor cross rider (really anything he tried, he mastered and did it “big”). He lived more life in his 27 years than most and he was always up for the next adventure. Garrett is quoted as saying “I really love helping people” – and he did just that. Helping those around him and having a good time no matter the circumstance was one of Garrett’s greatest traits. He spoke to everyone with interest and ALWAYS with a big beautiful smile on his face. He was everybody’s buddy and his heartwarming demeanor with animals and children was a shining example of kindness and love in a world that could use a lot more of that. Though Garrett is no longer with us, he will never be forgotten. The family will hold a celebration of life party in Charleston each year (TBD), hosted by his parents and brother.
