George "Louie" Deviney 80, of Rutherfordton died on March 3, 2009 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte NC. He was a native of Rutherford County and was the son of the late Dewey and Grace Grayson Deviney. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Barbara Deviney of Rutherfordton, Brother Larry Deviney of Rutherfordton, Step-Daughters Loraine Clark of Charlotte, Kristina Baron of Doylestown PA and Laura Daigle of Rutherfordton. Step Sons James Rhein of Yardley PA and Mike Gordon of Greenville NC. Eleven grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday March 8, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church with Revs. Dee Ann Demontmillan and Ed Hillman and Dr. Larry Gregg Officiating.
