Mrs. Georgia Copeland Wilkerson 81 of Spindale died on Saturday August 8, 2009 at Autumn Care in Forest City. She was born in Polk County on August 28, 1927 to the late Curtis and Lula Ballenger Copeland. She was a homemaker and was an active member of Gold Hill Baptist Church serving as a former Deaconess and Usher. She was a member of the Eastern Star Western Beauty 295 Chapter. She was the widow of Mr. Ray Wilkerson. She is survived by her son Boyce Alexander Wilkerson of Spindale, daughter Catherine Goode and Husband John of Shelby, daughter Patricia Littlejohn of Spindale. 15 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. One sister Curtis Mary Toms. The quiet hour will be held from 1-2 PM on Tuesday August 11 at Gold Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow in the church at 2 PM.
