Gordon Myers, born Ebb Gordon Myers, loving husband and father, passed to the Lord on February 21st, 2012, at Hospice House. He was 83 years old. The son of the late John H. Myers and Hessie Gordon Myers, he was born in Charlotte, NC. He attended SMU for two years, and served for two years in the US Coast Guard. He worked for many years with Combined Insurance Company, both in North Carolina and in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtice Myers; four children: Avery Myers Gordon, Byron James Hendrix Myers, Tommy Myers and Jessie Lucille Nivens; and one stepson: Ronnie McCombs. A private service will be held at a later date.
