Grace Lee Gamble Turner, age 90, died Saturday, Feb. 26 at Henderson Care. A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Zeno and Amanda Melton Gamble. She was a retired pharmacy technician from Spindale Drug and a member of Spindale United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sister, Viola Gamble of Forest City and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Pratt Turner. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 11 AM at Spindale United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Pyatt officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
