Hazel Euguina Keeter Johnson age 74 of 710 N. Washington St Apt G 2 Rutherfordton died Wednesday at Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and retired from Broyhill Furniture Company. She was preceded in death by her husband Silas Johnson, parents George & Nell Keeter Koone, brother Rev. Elbert Keeter and other family members. Surviving are a sister Dorothy Keeter of Rutherfordton; a brother Donald Koone of Rutherfordton; step sons Jerry Johnson of Alaska and Phillip Johnson of Florida and two nieces. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at Mountain Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Mills, Rev. Billy Honeycutt and Rev. Tommy Hutchins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Crowe Mortuary Rutherfordton.
