Henry Burgin

Henry Lee Burgin, 65, of Willow Ridge Nursing Center, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 1, 2013 while surrounded by the love of his family. Henry attended Carver High School. He worked at Collins and Aikman of Old Fort, NC for many years. He was a member of St. John AME Zion Church for many years until his health declined. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Laura Ree Douglas Burgin of Rutherford County; sisters, Laura Eunice Kelly, Helen Meeks, and Mildred Burgin Miller; his brothers, J.C. Burgin, Clyde Burgin, Jr. and Clintard Douglas. He is survived by his two nieces; Tyeronica Morris of Morganton, N C, Cynthia Knox(Terrell) of Forest City, NC, and one nephew Willie Kelly of Rutherfordton, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Rob Roy Staley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
