Jack Hoyle

Jack Columbus Hoyle, age 76 of Rutherfordton, died Monday, October 17 at Holly Springs Senior Center. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Christopher Columbus and Molly Jolley Hoyle. Jack was a retired loom fixer, member of Adaville Baptist Church and an avid quail hunter and fisherman. Jack is survived by three sons, Chris Hoyle and wife Judy, Tim Hoyle, and Brian Hoyle and wife Kim, all of Rutherfordton; seven grandchildren, Andy Hoyle, Lee Hoyle, Jackie Hoyle, Amanda Ramsey, Sandra Wells, Cody Hoyle and Molly Kate Hoyle; and ten great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Louise Hoyle. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Thursday, October 20 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Marion Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in Adaville Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043
