James Wallace

James Luther “Luke” Wallace, 84, of Spindale, died Thursday, April 12 at Hospice House. A native of Rock Hill, SC, he was the son of the late George Lamar and Wilma Hill Wallace. Luke was a retired security guard for Rutherford Hospital and a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lois Helton Wallace of the home; daughters Korri Lynette Green of Penn Yan, NY and Carol Ruth Wallace of the home; son George Martin Wallace and wife June Phillips Wallace of Wesley Chapel, FL; sisters, Nell DeGregory of Battle Creek, MI and Margaret Patrick of Oregon; four grandsons, Nathan Johnson, George Johnson, Donald Green and James Wallace; two great grandchildren, Blake Johnson and Faye Wallace. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Daniel Green and a sister, Mary Wilkinson. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
