Mrs. Janice Denise Hensley Byrd age 47 of Conner Street passed away Friday December 30, 2011. A native of Texas she was a daughter of the Roy Grady Hensley and Mary Lillie Briscoe Hensley. Left to cherish her memory are four children – Keela Blanton, Billy Blanton, Jr., Candi Blanton and Selena Byrd. She is also survived by one brother Roy Dale Hensley, one sister Delores Hensley Jones and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Wednesday January 4, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Rutherfordton, NC with Rev. Brent Frady officiating. The family will receive friends following the services.
