Jeanette Spicer Carpenter age 70 of Forest City, NC passed away on December the 10th 2016. Jeanette was the daughter of the late Earnest and Rose Bailey Spicer, and was retired as a teacher assistant with the Rutherford County School System. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Joseph Samuel Carpenter; son Joey and wife Deitra; son Jeff and wife Lisa; son Jay and fiancée Deborah; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother Herman Spicer; brother Tommy Spicer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Gene Spicer; Services will be held on Tuesday December the 13th at 3:00PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-3:00PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
