Jewell Cole

Jewell Ann Cole, age 62, of 927 Island Creek Road Lake Lure died Monday at Hospice House. Jewell was a native of Henderson County, a cosmetologist , a member of Chimney Rock Baptist Church and daughter of the late Ernest and Esther Iona Wilson Nelon. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jerry Cole; son Bart Cole of Mill Spring, Brandon Cole of Greer, Brett Cole of Spartanburg; daughter Amber Thompson of Rutherfordton; sister Darlene Spivey of Mill Spring; brother Norman Nelon of Mill Spring and 5 Grandchildren, Trey, Tori and Tali Thompson and Aries and Xander Cole Funeral services will be 4 PM Thursday at Chimney Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Daggerhart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chimney Rock Baptist Church.
