Joyce Presley

Joyce W. Presley, 67, of 537 Turner Rd, Rutherfordton, NC died on Friday, January 10, 2014, at Oak Grove Health Center. Joyce was born in Fairview, NC to the late Charles B. Wilson & Myrtle R. Wilson. Joyce was a member of Big Level Baptist Church, and also served as treasurer for the Fairview Fire Dept. Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband David of 46 years and son Dewayne. She is also survived by her sisters; Elizabeth West of Franklin, Margaret Trantham of Rutherfordton, and Aeline Penley and husband Weldon of Asheville, and a brother Ray Wilson of Fairview. She was known as Aunt JoJo to 4 nieces and nephews and several other nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Ted Wilson and sister Edna West. Funeral service will be at 2PM on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Big Level Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Orr officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Church Sanctuary.
