Lila Glaze Lovelace passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC. Lila was born in Birmingham, AL and is the daughter of the late James K. Polk Glaze and the late Saline Adaline Blackston Glaze. She is survived by her children – Sonny Brooks, Jackie Hill, Mary Head, Janelia Richardson, Kathy & Mark Tate, Edward Sullivan, Billy & Duanea Sullivan, June & Wayne Judd, and Ann Hartman; step children – Larry Lovelace, Jimmy Lovelace, Greg Lovelace and Sandy Laughter, twenty-nine grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, niece Clara Vines as well as a number of other family members and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by stepsons Billy and Johnny Lovelace, husband Clyde Sullivan and husband Curly Lovelace. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wayne Toney, Rev. Neil Murray and Rev. Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
