Lois Jean Eaton, 84, of Lake Lure, died Thursday, Feb. 11 at Hospice House. A native of Allegheny, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Bertha Martin Weaver. She was a retired secretary and buyer for Detroit Switch, Inc. . Mrs. Eaton is survived by her husband, Robert R. Eaton of the home; daughter Barbara J. Deter of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Kenneth W. Wood, Jr. of Jeannette, PA; and one step daughter Beatrice Eaton of Sneads Ferry, NC. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13 at 11 AM at Fairfield Mountains Chapel with Rev.
