Lottie Mae Mosteller Mitchem age 90 pf White Oak Manor Rutherfordton died Thursday February 11, 2010 at Hospice House. She was a native of Rutherford County, a retired textile employee and an avid gardener. Lottie Mae was preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Mitchem, son Keith Mitchem, parents Dave and Annie Mae Ingle Mosteller and brothers Ed, Loman and Joe Mosteller. Left to cherish her memory are her children Kenneth Thomas Mitchem and Wayne Doyle(Sheila) Mitchem of Forest City; sister Mary Barrier of Marion, NC; grandchildren Shawna (Chuck) Jenkins of Easley, SC, Mark (Tracie) Mitchem of Rutherfordton; great grandchildren Avery and Alex Jenkins of Easley and Hayden Mitchem of Rutherfordton. Services will be conducted at 3 PM Saturday at Crowe’ Funeral Chapel with Mr. Mike Lawing officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM prior to the service. Hospice of Rutherford County is the family’s charity of choice. The family will be at the home of Wayne and Sheila Mitchem 294 Chapman Rd Forest City, NC 28043.
