Miss Louise Nanney of Asheville, died Tuesday, March 10, at the John F. Keever Solice Center in Asheville. A native of Rutherford County, Miss Nanney was a daughter of the late R.W. and Ella Lou Hogan Nanney. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Nanney Taylor and Mae Wood Nanney Bennett. She was a retired legal secretary and a member of First Baptist Church of Asheville, AARP, the Battery Park Residents Association, and the Founders Society of Mars Hill College. She is survived by one nephew, Eddie Bennett and wife Patricia of Rutherfordton, two great nieces, Amanda Bennett of Duncan and Leslie Beinnett of Winston-Salem; One great great niece Sydney Bennett of Duncan SC. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday March 14, 2009 at 2 PM at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 1-2 PM at Crowe's Mortuary. Burial will be in Rutherfordton City Cemetery.
