Condolence

Lou was a wonderful person who loved her family, church family and friends without reservation or hesitation! She trusted God to met her every need and he did. She often was praying about a need before the person who had the need realized there was a issue. She shared her love of reading and the simple pleasure of a story told well. She and I never actually met each other in person but we knew and valued each other for more than twenty years. She was my sister's great friend and she and I always share our beloved friends! Lou and I started writing to each other over twenty years ago. We learned to love each other and pray for each other. Her encouragement took me through the death of my husband and many family members. We shared concerns, hopes and dreams in years and years of her beautifully written letters. She was a blessing to me and I am Thankful to God for his gift of this amazing woman.

Lu glided through the water like a beautiful mermaid. She inspired, encouraged and blessed me to witness her faith and love of the water combined by swimming well into her youthful 90s. Now she’s swimming in Heavenly waters in all her strength and beauty! Amen 🙏❤️

Mike and I were saddened to learn of Lu's passing. She was a fine and remarkable Christian lady that I knew at church for many years as a positive, inspiring, kind, energetic, faithful person and witness to her abiding faith in Jesus Christ. She was bright and fun to be around and loved her husband, family, and church family dearly. She will be missed here, but I'm sure was welcomed into her heavenly father's loving embrace. Sending love and sympathy to Newt and Susan, and all of Lu's many family and friends. Camille Wheeler
