Lucille Fincannon

Eleanor Lucille Philbeck Fincannon, age 72, of Forest City, died Monday at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Hammon Philbeck and the late Hazel Elizabeth Stacey Philbeck. She was a homemaker and a member of Spindale United Methodist Church. In addition to her father, she is survived by two daughters, Cathy Parnell and husband Timothy, and Christina High and husband Harry all of Nashville, TN; sister Barbara Higgins and husband Harlen of Forest City; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a special nephew Johnny Higgins and wife Stephanie. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Fincannon and son David H. Fincannon. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, November 25 at Spindale United Methodist Church with Revs. Jim Pyatt and David Lee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation or Spindale United Methodist Church.
