Margie Frady

Margie Sims Frady, age 95, of Chimney Rock Rd. Rutherfordton, NC passed away Wednesday at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Margie was a native of Rutherford County, widow of the late Ralph Frady and daughter of the late Jesse and Iola Spurlin Sims. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Oliver Sims, Ralph Sims, Ann Smith, Bertha Flynn, Mary Bailey and Herman Sims. Left to cherish her memory is numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday August 31, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rick Wall and Rev. Brian Hardin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Saturday at Crowe’s Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church. The family will be at the home of Amy Jenkins 299 Fernwood Drive Rutherfordton, NC 28139
