Mrs. Marianne “Missy” Gee age 48 of 112 Brookwood Drive went home to be with the Lord Wednesday October 5, 2011 following a long illness. “Missy” was the daughter of the late Dr. Charles and Sandra Lowery Cobb, former hair stylist, textile worker and a member of First Baptist Church of Spindale. She also had fond memories of Adaville Baptist Church where she was active in her youth. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Walter Lee Gee of the home, one son Jeremiah Gee of the home, one brother Andy Cobb & wife Cindy of Rutherfordton and mother in law Ella Mae Gee of the home. A number of other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Mark Cobb. A celebration of life will be held 3 PM Saturday October 8, 2011 at Spindale First Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Evans officiating. Concluding services will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 PM Saturday at Spindale First Baptist Church.
