Rutherfordton, NC Marjorie Ann Craven age 72 of Moss Road went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday July 26, 2016 while surrounded by her loving daughters. A native of Rockingham, NC she is the daughter of the late William and Nancy Ruth Long Craven. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Carla Jean Alley. She is survived by her daughters – Nancy Craven of the home; Tawana Wallace and husband Billy of Rutherfordton, NC; Sandra Dobbins and husband Doug of Forest City, NC; Donna Alley of Spindale, NC and Lori Alley of Rutherfordton, NC. Grandchildren – Spc Wallace,Tyler and wife Jessica, Haley, Brooklyn, Brandy, Lexi, Bryson, Braylan Wallace and Harlie Alley all of Rutherfordton, NC; Cassie, Carl Dean and wife Charidy, and Donald Dobbins all of Forest City, NC; Carla Alley, Amanda, Ray and Tina Owensby all of Spindale, NC; thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters – Catherine Rocker and husband Robert of Rockingham, NC and Billie Taylor of Hamlet, NC. Marjorie also leaves a number of other family members and friends as well as her beloved cat “Ball-Ball”. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday July 29, 2016 at Fellowship Holiness Church 301 Deviney St. Spindale, NC 28160 with Rev. Leon Brown and Rev. William Alley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery located on Rob Long Road in Rutherfordton, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Thursday July 28, 2016 at Fellowship Holiness Church.
