Martha Hardin Daniel, age 78, of Forest City, died Thursday, May 02, 2013 at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Newton and Novella Scoggin Hardin. She was a member of Florence Baptist Church and retired president of Daniel Furniture. She is survived by her two children, Chris Daniel of Forest City and Trina Lancaster of Forest City; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Rev. Newton R.N. Hardin of Lexington, NC and Wayne Hardin of Forest City; sister Rachel McAbee of Forest City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Daniel. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 4 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Newton R.N. Hardin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
