Mildred Louise Ford McAbee age 74 died on September the 28th 2013. Mildred worked for Burlington Industries at the J. C. Cowan location. She was the daughter of the late Manley and Bessie Kuykendall Ford. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Carol Deaton and husband Eddie of Forest City, Karen Lail and husband Rusty of Forest City, Deb Elmore and husband Harvey of Belmont, Rita Hudson and husband Brian of Golden Valley, Sister Beulah McEntire and husband Gene of Mt. Holly. Seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Kenneth McAbee and her siblings; Ralph Ford, Eugene Ford, Furman Ford, Lillian Ellenburg, and Gertrude Thomas. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday October the 1st 2013 at Forest Lake Baptist Church with the Reverends Wayne Toney and Billy Boone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
