Nancy Hamrick Houser, age 77, of 1007 Centennial Rd Union Mills, NC died Saturday at Oak Grove Health Care Center. Nancy was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Gilkey Baptist Church and daughter of the late Carl and Marcelle Ball Hamrick. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Carl Edward Houser; sons Barry Houser (Carol) of York, SC, Ricky Houser (Lori) of Union Mills and Mark Houser of Union Mills, NC, and a daughter Penny McCurry (Dean) of Gilkey; sisters Irene Lipscomb of Rutherfordton, Betty Brooks of Spindale and a brother Danny Hamrick of Bostic; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be at 3 PM Tuesday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Danny Hamrick officiating burial will be at Eternal Hills. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM prior to the service.
