Patricia Ann O’Brien Carter, age 76, of 2395 Cove Rd. Rutherfordton passed away Monday at her home. Patricia was a native of Boston, Massachusetts, a graduate of Hartford School of Nursing where she received in BS in Nursing and was retired from Rutherford Hospital. Preceding her in death are her husband Ed Carter, parents Paul O’Brien and Earline Louise Bouchie O’Brien and a brother Paul O’Brien. Left to cherish her memory are her children Beth Bonthron and husband Niles, son Chip Carter and wife Linda; grandchildren Jacob Yant, Zac Carter, Richard Neales, Nicole Neales, Katelyn Rodewald, Danny Eaton and Kirsten Bonthron; great grandchild Charlee Eaton; brother Terry O’Brien and wife Judy; sister in law Sharon Carter; niece Bevin O’Brien and nephew Scott O’Brien. A celebration of the life of Patricia Carter will be held at 5 PM Thursday October 25th at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Jendrey officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-5 PM prior to the service. The family request that memorials be made to The Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 75817 Topeka, Ks. 66675-8517
