Patrick “Pat” Nolan Edwards of Forest City, NC went home to be with the Lord Friday June 3,2016 at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte NC, at the age of 43. Patrick was born on February 10, 1973 to Alfred Oneal Edwards and Betty Brim Edwards in Reidsville, NC.He spent his early years in Madison, NC before he moved to Rutherfordton, NC in 1989. He was a graduate of R.S Central High School & attended Isothermal Community College. He was employed by Broyhill Furniture for over 10 years and began working at Odom and Associates, in 2005.He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, listening to music, and being a jokester. Patrick was a great father, husband, brother, and friend. He will forever be loved and missed. God and Patrick had a talk and he told him it was time and Patrick didn’t fight that command. He was preceded in death by his brother Alfred (Yolanda) Edwards Jr. of Cleveland, TN. Left to cherish is memories are is wife Maria Cash Edwards, his beloved daughters Jada and Arianna Edwards both of the home; his God son Joseph Cash (Douglasville, GA) parents: Alfred Oneal Edwards Sr. of Rutherfordton, NC and Betty Brim Edwards of Mayodan, NC. 2 brothers Dewey (Becky) Edwards of Clarksville, TN; Eric (Kelli) Edwards of Greensboro, NC; 2 sisters: Trina (Marcus) Anderson of Winston-Salem, NC and LaToya Gilmore of Forest City, NC; 11 nieces, 12 nephews, 8 God children and very special family (friends) Ali Jabbar Martin, Jerome (Tiffany) Cash, Tyrone (Nicole) Cash, Kenya (Lori) Campbell, Martez Barnes, Keith (Angie) Hines, Craig (Crystal) Pratt, Brian (Dionne), Chris (Felicia) and Annie Hooper. A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held 3 PM Tuesday June 7, 2016 at Four Square “Grace Chapel” in Forest City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
