Robert Ellis, 77, of Forest City, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Elizabeth Grigg Ellis. Robert was a retired meat cutter. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Elizabeth Ann Willis Ellis of the home; sons Randy Ellis of Charleston, SC and Ricky Ellis (Brian Martz) of Indianapolis, IN; stepdaughters Angela Blanton (Tracy) of Mooresboro and Donna Albea (Lewis) of Forest City; stepson Shannon Shaw of Mooresboro; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children and a grandchild. Memorial services will be held 11AM Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
