Peter May, 66, of Frostproof, FL died August 2 at Hospice House. Peter was a native of germany and born May 18, 1943. He was the son of the late Herbert and Martha May of Frankfurt, Germany. He moved to the United States in 1980 and proudly became an American citizen in 1985. He was preceded in death by his brother, Klaus May and his sister, Tatiana Hintermeier, both of Germany. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors and was a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ruthe May of the home; two sons, Hauke May and wis wife Madonna of Bowling Green, KY and Christian May and wife Martina of Elmshorn, Germany; four grandchildren, Lauren, Nathan, Steve, and Hannah.
