Rena Minnie Crisp Mundy, age 74, of Monfredo St. Rutherfordton died Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Hospice House. Rena was a native of Swain County and a retired nursing home supervisor. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Herman Mundy and parents Pearly and Emma Welch Crisp. Left to cherish her memory are her children Dean (Anita) Mundy, Lance (Holly) Mundy both of Forest City, Cindy (Jay) Brooks of Rutherfordton and Lisa Mundy of Lincolnton; grandchildren Amy Ryan, Brittany Brooks, Eric Mundy and 3 great grandchildren Loki Ryan, Malaki Ryan and Brantley Mundy. Services will be 6 PM Friday March 27, 2015 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in the Rutherfordton City Cemetery.
