Robert Vickers

Mr. Gene Vickers age 61 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 9, 2015 while being cared for at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County NC Gene was an employee of Sanitary Plumbing, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents Jonas and Maude Hodge Vickers as well as four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife Glenda Campbell Vickers, one son Dewaine Vickers, one sister Mae Vickers Thompson, two grandchildren as well as number of other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family who he loved with all his heart. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday May 12, 2015 at Crowe’s Mortuary. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
