Robert Ellsworth Evans, age 74, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at his residence. A native of Grafton, ND, he was the son of the late Leonard and Evelyn Tornow Evans. He was a business college owner and member of Word of Faith Fellowship. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Susan Hannon of Rutherfordton; sons John Hannon, David Hannon and Michael Hannon, all of Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister Dee Strom of WY; brother Larry Evans of WY. Memorial services will be held 7 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2013 at Word of Faith Fellowship with Revs. Sam and Jane Whaley officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Word of Faith Christian School, 207 Old Flynn Road, Spindale, NC 28160 or the Holocaust Museum.
