Robert Grizzard

Robert Lee Grizzard, 52, of Rutherfordton, NC died suddenly at his home on February 9th, 2019. A native of Akron, OH, he was the son of Janet Champion Moore and the late Dennis Peter Grizzard. In his early life, he served his country by working as a US Air Force Inventory Control Specialist. Rob moved to a base in Wales, UK, met his love and later had a child in Las Vegas, NV. Rob loved his family more than anything. Rob had a desire to seek out as much knowledge as he could throughout his existence. He will be loved and missed dearly. Left to forever cherish his memory is his daughter, Nicole Grizzard "Coco", Fiona Speed (mother of his daughter), Janet Moore (mother), Wesley Moore (stepfather), Don Grizzard (brother), Denise Garza (sister), and a number of nieces & nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at Crowe's Mortuary from 2 until 3 PM. A service will be held Friday, February 15th, 2019 at Black Mountain Veterans Cemetery at 10am.
